Hypnosis

Essentially, hypnosis a process by which the conscious mind is relaxed so that the negative messages and emotions that are stored in the subconscious mind can be changed to help you achieve the results you desire. There are many misconceptions about clinical hypnosis. Rest assured that your therapist cannot make you do anything you do not want to do while under hypnosis. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis, meaning you choose how deep you want to go. The only people who can’t enter into trance are those who do not wish to. We all enter into trance states at various times in our life. Perhaps you’ve had the common experience of driving home while daydreaming of something else or while on the phone with a friend. You pull into your driveway with no true recollection of how you got from Point A to Point B. Your subconscious mind got you home safely while your conscious mind focused on something else. Hypnosis has been a powerful tool of change for hundreds of years. We’ve used hypnosis to help our clients control their eating, improve confidence and self-esteem, overcome various sexual problems, manage chronic pain, and more.
